CHILDHOOD IN FLORENCE
1459- June 24th: Ezio Auditore da Firenze is born.
- Date Missing: Ezio meets Cristina Vespucci and intervenes when she is harassed by Vieri de Pazzi. Ezio and Cristina start a relationship in secret, as her parents do not approve.
- December 26: Ezio and his brother Federico get into a street fight with Vieri de Pazzi.
- December 28: Ezio discovers his sister's fiancé, Duccio, is cheating on her; he beats Duccio and the engagement is annulled. He runs errands for his father, Giovanni, and returns to find the Villa Auditore has been ransacked, and his father and brothers arrested. He moves his mother and his sister to their housemaid's sister's home.
- December 29: Giovanni Auditore da Firenze and his sons Federico and Petruccio are hanged in front of the Palazzo della Signoria, on false accusations of treason against Florence, by secret Templar Uberto Alberti. Ezio is chased by guards and seeks shelter with Paola, a courtesan.
- December 30: Paola trains Ezio in the art of stealth, and Ezio sneaks along the docks to give last rites to his father and brothers' bodies. Ezio sees Cristina and asks her to flee Florence with him, but she refuses. He leaves her with his necklace. Ezio spends the night at Leonardo da Vinci's workshop, where he arms himself with a repaired hidden blade.
- December 31: Gonfaloniere Uberto Alberti is killed by Ezio for betraying the Auditore family, during an exposition of Andrea del Verrocchio's work.
TUSCANY
1477
- January 1: Ezio and his mother Maria and sister Claudia leave Florence, traveling on foot and sleeping in fields and what shelter they can find. Ezio intends to take them to Spain.
- January 3: Ezio and his mother and sister are accosted on the road by Vieri de Pazzi and his men, and are rescued by Mario Auditore, Ezio's uncle.
- Date Missing: Ezio and his family arrive in Monteriggioni.
- Date Missing: Mario trains Ezio in swordplay and reveals details of the Auditore family's background with the Assassins. Ezio refuses to accept it and only wants to flee Italy.
- Date Missing: Upon their return to Monteriggioni, Mario reveals Rodrigo Borgia is responsible for the conspiracy that led to his father's death. Ezio abandons his plans to go to Spain, instead resolving to get revenge on the men involved in the conspiracy.

- April 14: Mario departs for San Gimignano to put a stop to it, and Ezio follows, feeling the attacks are his fault. Ezio finds Vieri and murders him, and is pulled away from Vieri's corpse by Mario.

- April 25: Ezio's purse is stolen by a thief, who leads him to La Volpe, the leader of the Thieves' Guild. La Volpe reveals to him a part of the Pazzi plan to kill Lorenzo de' Medici, the ruler of Florence.
- April 26: Lorenzo de' Medici and his brother Giuliano are attacked by the Templar Pazzi conspirators, resulting in the death of Giuliano. Lorenzo is saved and brought to safety by Ezio, who had spied on the conspirators' meeting with aid from La Volpe.
- April 27: Ezio takes on assassination work for Lorenzo's enemies.
- Date Missing: Ezio returns to Monteriggioni for more training.
- Date Missing: Francesco de' Pazzi is killed by Ezio. Francesco's body is hung from the Palazzo della Signoria, while his uncle Jacopo de' Pazzi is rallying a mob against the Medici.
- Date Missing: Antonio Maffei, a Pazzi conspirator, is killed by Ezio atop San Gimignano's tallest tower.
- April 12: Ezio launches a siege on the villa of Francesco Salviati, a Pazzi conspirator, near San Gimignano. Ezio manages to take down the gate by sneaking in, allowing his mercenary forces in, and he slays Francesco.
- May 3: Bernardo Baroncelli, a Pazzi conspirator, meanders through a market near the city walls of San Gimignano. Ezio tails him for information and then kills him.
- Date Missing: Stefano da Bagnone, a Pazzi conspirator, is killed by Ezio in the Monte Oliveto Maggiore outside San Gimignano.
- Date Missing: Ezio returns to Florence and intervenes on an attack on the Palazzo Medici, saving Lorenzo's life once more.
- January 3: Jacopo de' Pazzi is mortally wounded by Grand Master Rodrigo Borgia and Emilio Barbarigo during a Templar meeting in the Antico Teatro Romano for his failure during the Pazzi Conspiracy. Ezio witnesses this but is caught, and he swiftly escapes to put the dying Jacopo out of his misery. With the last Pazzi patriarch dead, he hopes this is the end of his quest for revenge.
- Date Missing: Rodrigo Borgia departs for Venice.
- Date Missing: Ezio returns to Florence to speak with Lorenzo, distressed by the idea that Rodrigo Borgia is so close. Lorenzo offers him a Medici cape that will grant him some immunity to the law.
- Date Missing: Leonardo decides to move his workshop from Florence to Venice.
VENICE
1481
- Date Missing: Ezio and Leonardo meet up on the road near the Apennine Mountains and travel together. They are ambushed and pursued all the way to Forlì.
- Date Missing: Ezio meets a young woman named Amelia and beats her in a horse race. After sleeping with her, she directs him to where he can find a ship.
- March 3: Ezio and Leonardo da Vinci sail to Venice, with aid from Caterina Sforza, who grants them a boarding pass after Ezio rescues her from some trouble.
- Date Missing: Ezio and Leonardo arrive in Venice and are given a tour of the city, where they witness the cruelties the Venetian police inflict on the merchants.
- Date Missing: Ezio meets the thief Rosa when she steals his purse.
- March 7: Ezio attempts to sneak into the Palazzo della Seta but is foiled by their security. He encounters Rosa again, who is shot by a guard, and he rescues her and returns her to the local thieves guild. Antonio de Magianis, the leader of the thieves guild, invites Ezio to help him liberate the San Polo District from the Doge's control, as they share the same goal: end Emilio Barbarigo, the leader of the Venetian merchant guild and a Templar.
- Date Missing: Ezio liberates captured thieves and steals guard uniforms to use as disguises.
- Date Missing: Ezio hunts down the traitors to the guild and kills them.
- Date Missing: Ezio strikes up a romance with Rosa while she teaches him better running and climbing skills.
- Ezio spends three years living with the thieves' guild.
- September 11: The culmination of the past three years of training and learning: Ezio infiltrates the palace wall and overhears a conversation between Emilio and government official Carlo Grimaldi, from which he learns that there will be a Templar meeting in three days at Santo Stefano. Carlo flees, and Ezio kills Emilio Barbarigo, aided by Antonio, Rosa and Ugo.
- September 14: Ezio spies on Carlo and Inquisitor Silvio Barbarigo's meeting and sees Rodrigo Borgia join them. They are plotting to poison the Doge Giovanni Mocenigo and install Marco Barbarigo in his stead. Ezio makes haste to infiltrate the Palazzo Ducale, but it is too heavily guarded. Ezio heads to Leonardo's workshop and with Antonio they hatch a plan for Ezio to infiltrate the palace from above using Leonardo's flying machine. Ezio is successful, though not in time to save the Doge, and he kills Carlo. He does not make a clean getaway, accidentally making himself the most wanted man in Venice.
- February 13: After some time laying low, Ezio meets with Leonardo to go over plans for a hidden gun mechanism.
- February 14: Antonio introduces Ezio to Sister Teodora, who runs a brothel-church called La Rosa della Virtù. She informs him that a murderer has been targeting her courtesans, so Ezio hunts down the killer and finishes him. He moves into the brothel.
- February 15: Sister Teodora tells Ezio that Marco Barbarigo, the Templar Doge of Venice, would be hosting a party in the Carnivale, and that there is a Golden Mask (and with it a ticket to the party) available to the man who can win the most carnival games. Ezio masks up and competes in a fistfight, a footrace, a game of capture-the-flag, and a game of collecting ribbons, but the competition is rigged and the Golden Mask given to Silvio's personal bodyguard, Dante. Ezio makes to steal it, but is momentarily distracted by Cristina Vespucci being in town; he poses as her husband to seduce her, but she quickly realizes it is him, and she rebukes him. She demands he never see her again. Ezio returns to his task and steals the mask, enters the party, and kills Marco Barbarigo with his gun under the cover of fireworks. He returns to the brothel and is rewarded by Sister Teodora's courtesans.
- February 18: Ezio finishes being "rewarded." I know how stupid this sounds but it's canon B)
- July 11: Silvio Barbarigo and Dante Moro, members of the Templar Order, are killed by Ezio with aid from Bartolomeo d'Alviano's mercenaries.
- July 12: The Italian Templars leave Venice to retrieve the Piece of Eden from Cyprus, after ascertaining its location from Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's Codex pages.
- June 25: Ezio steals the Apple of Eden from the Templars in Venice, who had just returned from Cyprus. After a confrontation with Grand Master Rodrigo Borgia, Ezio is formally inducted into the Assassin Order by his allies from the courtesans, thieves and mercenaries guilds.
FORLì
1488
- July 7: The brothers Checco and Ludovico Orsi attack the city of Forlì on orders of Grand Master Rodrigo Borgia, after its ruler Caterina Sforza had hired the Orsi brothers to kill her Templar husband Girolamo Riario.
- July 8: Ludovico and Checco Orsi are killed by Ezio, who had come to Forlì with Niccolò Machiavelli to give the Apple of Eden to Caterina Sforza for safekeeping; Ezio passes out after being wounded by Checco, and loses the artifact to the monk Girolamo Savonarola.
SPAIN
1491
- Date Missing: Christopher Columbus, accompanied by the Assassin Luis de Santángel, is lured into an ambush in Venice by Rodrigo Borgia, who promised to fund Columbus' next voyage but wanted to keep the New World a Templar secret. Columbus is saved by Ezio.
- Date Missing: Luis de Santángel persuaded Ezio to accompany him and Columbus back to Spain, in order to help him and fellow Assassin Raphael Sánchez save the Spanish Assassins from persecution by the Spanish Inquisition.
- January 2: Emir Muhammad XII of Granada, during the surrender of the Emirate of Granada, handed the Apple of Eden over to Tomás de Torquemada for the return of his son.
- Date Missing: The Assassins Aguilar de Nerha and Maria engaged in a struggle with Tomás de Torquemada and Ojeda for the Apple of Eden, resulting in the deaths of Maria and Ojeda. Aguilar escaped with the artifact.
- Date Missing: Ezio confronted Grand Inquisitor Tomás de Torquemada, who feigned ignorance of his Templar affiliations. Ezio subsequently decided against killing Torquemada, and later returned to Italy.
- August 11: Rodrigo Borgia is elected as the new head of the Catholic Church, after purchasing votes from the other cardinals, and became known as Pope Alexander VI.
THE SAVONAROLA YEARS
1494
- November 9: Girolamo Savonarola stirred the Florentines into rebelling against Piero de' Medici using the Apple of Eden. The Medici are exiled and Savonarola became the city's de facto leader.
- Date Missing: Marcello Savonarola, cousin to Girolamo Savonarola, is saved in Florence by Ezio from Borgia guards.
- Date Missing: Piero de' Medici is saved by Girolamo Savonarola's followers in Venice. With Ezio, Piero took down his attackers and a corrupt herald.
- June 14: Juan Borgia is killed by the courtesan Fiora Cavazza on orders of his brother Cesare Borgia, allowing the latter to become Captain General of the Papal Armies.
- Date Missing: Ezio killed Girolamo Savonarola's nine lieutenants, in an effort to remove Savonarola's control over the Florentine population and regain the Apple of Eden.
- March 3: Giovanni Borgia is born to Lucrezia Borgia and either her brother Cesare Borgia or the Assassin Perotto Calderon, but suffered from a life-threatening deformation. Calderon stole the original Shroud of Eden from his Brothers in Agnadello to save his son's life. The Assassins subsequently killed Perotto.
- May 23: Girolamo Savonarola is captured by an angry Florentine mob in front of the Palazzo Pitti. Ezio regained the Apple of Eden, after it is stolen by a Borgia soldier. Ezio mercy killed Savonarola to spare him from being burned at the stake in front of the Palazzo della Signoria in Florence.
ROME
1499
- December 28: Pope Alexander VI is defeated by the Assassin Ezio in a fistfight at the entrance of the Vatican Vault; realizing that killing Rodrigo would not bring his family back, Ezio chose to spare the Pope's life.
- December 28: Ezio received a message from the Precursor Minerva for Ezio's descendant Desmond Miles, after opening the vault doors using his Apple of Eden and the Papal Staff.
- January 2: Monteriggioni is besieged and destroyed by the Papal Army under orders of Cesare Borgia, who executed the captured Assassin leader Mario Auditore and took possession of the Assassins' Apple of Eden; Ezio Auditore is severely wounded during the siege, and Caterina Sforza is captured.
- January: Niccolò Machiavelli became the leader of the Italian Assassins and set up headquarters on Tiber Island in Rome to fight the Borgia. Ezio joined him and later set up an underground network in the city led by his sister Claudia, La Volpe and Bartolomeo d'Alviano.
- Cesare Borgia and Sirus Favero founded the Crows, a Templar organization dedicated to eradicating the Assassins by adopting their own techniques and weaponry. They deceived the Spanish Assassin Raphael Sanchez into training the Crows for five years at Vallombrosa Abbey.
- May: Nicolaus Copernicus is saved from Borgia attacks by Ezio, after Copernicus betrayed the Templar Order by making his scientific discoveries public.
- June 30: Caterina Sforza escaped her imprisonment by Lucrezia Borgia in the Castel Sant'Angelo with the help of the Assassin Ezio.
- September 20: Agostino Barbarigo, the Doge of Venice and an Assassin ally, died after having been poisoned by an Assassin team consisting of Francesco Vecellio, Cipriano Enu and Tessa Varzi for making deals with the Borgia.
- Date Missing: Ezio destroyed the war machines that Leonardo da Vinci designed on orders of Cesare Borgia, on Da Vinci's own request.
- December 31: Vitellozzo Vitelli and Oliverotto da Fermo are killed by Micheletto Corella for rebelling against Cesare Borgia.
- August 1: Juan Borgia the Elder is killed by Ezio at Juan's Pagan party in Rome.
- August: Baron Octavian de Valois is killed in the Castra Praetoria in Rome by Ezio, with aid from Bartolomeo d'Alviano's mercenaries.
- Date Missing: Micheletto Corella's attempt on Pietro Rossi's life is twarted by Ezio, though he ultimately spared Micheletto's life.
- Date Missing: Ezio is promoted to Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood of Assassins, and Claudia Auditore da Firenze is inducted into the Brotherhood.
- August 18: Pope Alexander VI is killed by his son Cesare Borgia, using the poisoned apple that the Pope intended to kill his son with for his reckless behaviour; Ezio retrieved the Apple of Eden from the courtyard of Saint Peter's Basilica ahead of Cesare.
- December: Cesare Borgia is arrested by Fabio Orsini on orders of Pope Julius II, after losing a fight with the Assassins in front of the Porta Aurelia in Rome.
THE HUNT FOR CESARE BORGIA
1504
- Date Missing: Cesare Borgia escaped imprisonment from the Castel Sant'Angelo, but is captured by Ezio near Ostia. Pope Julius II struck a deal with King Ferdinand and Queen Isabela of Spain to have Cesare imprisoned in the Castillo de la Mota in Valencia.
- Date Missing: Claudia Auditore da Firenze stepped down as the madam of the Rosa in Fiore in Rome after having been taken captive by Templar spies. The Venetian thief Rosa took over the position.
- November 26: Queen Isabella I of Castille passed away after having been poisoned by her servant, an acquaintance of Luis de Santángel, at the request of the Assassins for colluding with the Borgia.
- Date Missing: Micheletto Corella is taken captive in Zagarolo after Ezio led a force of 100 Assassins and thieves on against Micheletto's army. Micheletto is imprisoned in the Palazzo della Signoria in Florence and interrogated.
1506
- June 20: Ezio locked his Apple of Eden in the Isu vault beneath the Colosseum, on the artifact's instructions.
- June 21: Ezio meets the Admiral of the Authority and accepts a contract as a warden, where he will spend eight months out of time before returning to the same moment.
- June 24: Ezio, Niccolò Machiavelli and Leonardo da Vinci started their journey to Valencia to find Micheletto Corella, based on information from a courtesan named Camilla in Naples.
- March 12: Cesare Borgia falls to his death from the walls of Viana Castle, having been dropped by Ezio during the Siege of Viana.
- March 13: Ezio meets the Navarch in Viana and accepts a contract as a warden aboard the Peregrine.
